शिव सङ्कल्प काठमाडौँमा जन्मेका (२०३९) र हुर्किएका हुन्। सानैमा परम्परागत पद्धतिबाट संस्कृत अध्ययन गरेका उनले पछि पोखरा विश्वविद्यालयमा औषधिविज्ञानमा अध्ययन गरे र हाल (२०६५ देखि) त्यहीँ अध्यापनरत छन्। उनका रुचिका क्षेत्रहरू भाषा, साहित्य, सङ्गीत, इतिहास, भूगोल, संस्कृति, राजनीति, दर्शन आदि हुन्। २०५१ सालमा कान्तिपुर कोसेलीमा उनको पहिलो लेख प्रकाशित भएको थियो। त्यसयता उनका अनेक कथा, कविता, समीक्षा र लेखहरू नेपालका प्रमुख पत्र-पत्रिकामा प्रकाशित हुँदै आएका छन्।
Shiva Sankalpa was born in 1982 and raised in Kathmandu, Nepal. He received a traditional Sanskrit education in his early childhood. Later, he studied Pharmacology and specialized in Natural Products Chemistry at Pokhara University, where he has been a faculty member since 2009. His interests include language, literature, music, art, history, geography, culture, politics, and philosophy. His first article was published in Kantipur Koselee in 1995, and since then, his numerous stories, poems, reviews, and articles have appeared in major Nepali newspapers and magazines..
